When I run the install of the DONGLE for Asia Font Studio 4 in Windows 7 (latest software was needed for this), it goes through OK. So does the program install. But there are no files copied and the "shortcut" cannot, of course, find the program. I tried creating the subdirectories manually on C: but this didn't help either.
Everything worked fine in Windows XP, on both my desktop and my laptop. I am installing on a brand new machine, so there shouldn't be anything getting in the way...

I copied my AFS4 folder from XP to Win7, inserted the dongle for which something was installed automatically, and everything runs fine on Win7 Ultimate 64bit, without running an installer.

Lucas is right as always. Copying the whole AFS folder from XP is what I suggest as a workaround in the described situation.
