hi

I have AFS4 on two computers. On both I am editing the same component-based TTF. On one computer I can select the components in the glyph but on the other computer I cannot. The only difference I can see between the two situations is that on one computer I am running Windows Vista and on the other I am running Windows XP.  Is there a simple reason that I cannot select components? Is there something I can do to fix this?

thanks

Just to check open the empty glyph, right-click and see whether you can Add Component. If not then you probably have the component layer locked. Unlock it in the View -> Lock Layers menu.
