Update Database OFT

I have just purchased some OFT files to use on my website, but WEFT doesn't recognise them. Is there anyway to get them into the system or just select them and create an EOT file without going throught the updateDB process which keeps crashing.
Alternatively, does anyone know if the test version of WEFT 3.2 will work on OFT files.
