Every time I try to install WEFT 3 I receive the following error.

" Windows cannot find 'isetup.exe'. You may have typed the name incorrectly in the Run dialog, or another open program
cannot find a system file. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."

I am using the file WEFTIII2b1.exe for installation.

Any suggestions on how to correct this problem? Using Windows ME

Thank you

People have been using the installer for very many years now, so I can say with confidence that the problem is with your computer.

Is your computer in a good shape (how about disk space, viruses, etc). Do you get errors when using other programs too? Did you have any problems downloading the installer? Did you read the "Release Notes" (for example, non-power users can't install programs on Windows NT and above)? Maybe it's time to format your disk and re-install Windows (especially if you are not using Windows Xp).

Thank you for writing.
I realize the problem is with my computer.  I had WEFT running and accidently removed it.

This is where the problem began.  I have no problem with my other programs except Incerdimail which is experiencing a different installer problem

I am using Windows ME but am considering upgrading to XP.
Would the upgrade solve my problem?  Which XP version would you recommend.

Windows ME would be just fine.

You do mentioned that you are having problems installing another program too. That would indicate that you have a general problem with your computer. I do not recommend trying to figure out exactly what causes this problem. I would instead recommend backing up all important data (*no* programs, only pictures, documents, fonts, and other non-executable files), reformat your disk, and then re-install Windows ME from scratch. That would solve all your problems. With Windows ME, you may need to do this once a year or so if you install/uninstall a lot of programs.
