mjan You get this warning if your have less than 1MB of physical memory left and there is less than 30% left of your system resources. This is only a waning to let you know that you may run into trouble if you attempt to do too complicated tasks, such as subset very large Chinese fonts. You may safely ignore this message if you think you have enough memory.
The 30% limit is the important one to notice above. When this number reaches 0%, Windows will no longer be able to create fonts, bitmaps and other visual system resources. Your system load may reach 0% even if you have plenty of virtual memory left. This is typically a sign that you are either running too many applications at the same time, or that you have used an application that did not release this type of system resources when ending. Rebooting your machine will take care of the latter problem.
You may monitor your system load by opening the explorer and use the Help/About menu. The system load is displayed as the remaining system resources. When you start, it should read 85-90% free. If it gets down to only 30% free, WEFT will alert you. When it reaches 0%, Windows may crash.
This is a Win95/Win98 specific limitation.
