Hi All,

I am totally new to WEFT.  I installed the new version WEFT 5.3.2 from mocrosoft web site and opened the tool for the first time.  I got the following error.

"An unknown error prevented the microsoft Weft services from creating the font information repository . you will not be able to create web fonts"

I ignored the error and continued.  But when I tried to view all the available fonts.  WEFT closed by itself.

Please Help

Thanks
putkutti

I guess the font you are trying to make EOT is not a embeddable font. Please check or attach the font here.

Hi just saw your message and hope the previous solution was what you needed. The other choice would be to check the settings on you built in firewall, and make adjustments for Weft and it's list of internal processes which have to talk to OSkernel.
