Error message on initial start

 I have just downloaded and installed WEFT3 and when I first ran the program it wanted to create a database of fonts. (which it is supposed to do) The problem is it seems to be unable for some reason to do this. The following is the error message that I recieve.

An unknown error prevented the Microsoft Weft services from creating the font information repository. You will not be able to create web fonts.

Can anyone help with this?

Did you install the database components or let WEFT use the ones already installed on your machine?

I installed the database along with Weft3.

Hi there,

 

This is a known problem which will be fixed in the final released version of WEFT 3. It will be available shortly.
