I hope someone can give me some hint about this mess:

I have embedded CENTURY GOTHIC TTF in my web pages (this font is marked installable by WeftIII), I uploaded the files and set the styles in my CSS.

Then I tested my pages in another machine running WinME/IE55 which didn't have the CENTURY GOTHIC font installed.

Now the page actually downloads the EOT file and silently set up the Gothic font, but I see squares every now and then in the page instead of the correct letters: these squares not always replace the same letters and they are displayed among all other correctly rendered characters.
In other words not all the font family characters display properly.

Any ideas?
Thank You for your help

If the same characters are coming up as boxes each time you hit refresh then chances are you've not included them in the subset. If different characters are showing up as boxes then something else is probably wrong. Do you have an example posted to a live site?

I hope I'm not wasting your time with this reply, but you didn't by chance change the copy in your document, did you? I did that on a testing thing, then realized that the blanked out characters were not present when I originally created and embedded the font. I'm thinking of hiding and entire character set in each document so I won't have to regenerate the whole font every time I make a copy change.

No need to do this - just chose 'edit subset' when you reach the used fonts screen and add your basic char set at that point. This has load and save options.
