Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem that I'm having with the SBL Hebrew Font. I can't seem to insert both a "rafe" above a letter and a vowel sign below the same letter. The letter will take either one or the other, but not both. Instead, it advances one of the marks to the next space, so that it doesn't appear with the intended letter. I am using SBL Hebrew version 1.5 and MS Word 2002.
I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone could provide on this issue.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, this is a Word 2002 issue, and there's no way around it other than to either upgrade Word or use another program.

What version of what operating system are you using?

Thanks for your reply-- I was afraid that might be the reason! I'm using Windows XP. I'm planning to upgrade soon to Word 2007, but not to Windows Vista -- would resolve my font problems?

Yes, Word 2007 (or even 2003) running under Windows XP will resolve this issue. I am currently running this set up myself, and am able to combine rafe and a vowel on Hebrew letters.
