Hello,

I use Windows XP SP 2. I downloaded the updated (6/5/2007) SBL Hebrew Fonts and saved them under Windows, but it occurred that only English fonts were seen as I opened the font file. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?

P.S. I use Open Office.org 2.3 Writer as my word processor. As I opened my Writer, it also could not show SBL Hebrew in the font panel. Could this be the cause of the problem?

Thank you!

You need to make sure that right-to-left and complex script support is turned on in your system. Go to the Start menu, and from there to the Settings / Control Panel, and open the 'Regional and Language Options' dialogue window. In the 'Languages' tab, make sure that the check box for 'Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages' is turned on.

Thank you very much! I did just as you told me--making sure that complex script and right-to-left typing are turned on in Language options. It works well now in Open Office Writer.

I appreciate your help.
