On the 'General' discussion forum, Peter Kirk enquired:

Do the conditions permit me to redistribute the font and manual, without the rest of the package, to project researchers through the project's private secure website? Or by e-mail?

Yes, this is covered by section 3 of the End User License Agreement for the SBL Hebrew font:

3. You may redistribute this font software free of charge as long as the software is unmodified, all copyright and trademark notices are intact, and the font contains or is accompanied by a copy of this license agreement. You may not charge any fee for the distribution of this font software or alter the terms of this license agreement.

Note, however, that during this public beta period users who obtain the font from sources other than the SBL website, and who are not members of this community, may miss important updates and fixes. The official current release will always made via the SBL site; beta versions will be available from this community. Note that beta versions may have limited distribution rights, because I don't want a lot of beta versions with diverse behaviour floating around 'out there'.

Can anyone tell me how to get my postings on to the specific SBL Hebrew
forum? Or for that matter how to receive postings with less than a 48
hour delay?

Thanks for the answer to my question.

MSN communities don't seem to be optimally dealt with via e-mail. I always use the web interface, which is more reliable and where you seem to have more control of where your message ends up.
