Difficulty downloading

I have been trying to download 2 of the Legacy SP Fonts, SPAtlantis and APIonic onto my Mac, but without success. When double clicked, the correct icons immediately appear in the 'downloads' box and on the desktop - but with 0 bytes, and no prompts or anything further happening. I have OSX and MS Office. Can anyone please offer any advice? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Click on the icon for the download as control click, and then choose the
middle of the 5 options, to download to your preferred location on your own
computer.

Thanks very much for the prompt advice, which has enabled me to make some progress - but unfortunately I'm not there yet!  I've got 4 "link" options and 3 "image" options, not 5. I chose "download link to disk".  It duly arrived on the desktop and in the "downloads" box (the computer didn't give me any options). However, when I tried dragging it to the systems folder / font folder and telling it to open with Stuffit it didn't seem to work. Certainly, I can't select the new fonts in Word. I know I'm probably just missing something obvious, but I can't see what it is. Any further suggestions would be much appreciated.

Click on a font gets font book program and has the option to install a font,
not like in OS9.
