On the page "Resources: Biblical Fonts" of the SBL
http://www.sbl-site.org/Resources/Resources_BiblicalFonts.aspx>)
there is a link to download the Biblical Hebrew (Tiro) keyboard, but no
link to download the Biblical Hebrew (SIL) keyboard, the keyboard that
tries to match the positioning of Hebrew letters to English phonetic
cognates.

Do you know, whether this keyboard can still be downloaded from any
Internet web site? Has the distribution of this keyboard been
discontinued?

Regards,

I did provide SBL with a distribution that included the old SIL keyboard driver (it was not updated when the Tiro keyboard was updated, so when I delivered the latter I did not include the SIL, thinking that SBL would simply continue to distribute the old one). I'm not sure why it was not updated on the download site.

For the time being, I've made the old SIL driver and manual available from the documents section:

http://www.msnusers.com/SBLFonts/Documents/SIL%20keyboard.zip

After v2.00 of the SBL Hebrew font ships, I will provide updated keyboard drivers for both layouts. I'm also interested to know if there are other layouts that users are interested in having.
