Peter,
Don't quite understand the question. If you've been using SBL Greek why are
you asking about the release date?
Andy

I missed the original question, now deleted. I'm working on SBL Greek still: the basic design is largely finalised, but all the polytonic diacritic characters have to be made, and then some OpenType Layout tables added.

My apologies Andy I had meant to say I have been using SBL Hebrew which is fantastic and you must have seen my message just before I deleted it.

John Hudson has given an indication of the work remaining before releasing it which is helpful and i am sure he will keep this group informed of developments.

(perhaps we could create a SBL Greek board soon)

Thanks
Peter

As soon as the first beta font for the Greek is ready, we'll set up a separate board.

Hi John

Trust you are well. On the topic above, any idea of a preliminary date for the release of SBL Greek which you indicated you were hard at work on last year??

thanks so much
Kindest Regards
Peter

The upright Greek is in a reasonably advanced state, but I'm still revising it. My goal is to have both the Greek and Latin fonts and and update of the Hebrew completed in the May-July timeframe. I'm actually taking a kind of sabbatical during that time in order to get this finished.
