I want the font object to be universally accepted, not site specific. Can I add regular expression to match any url during
creation of FO.

Unfortunately, no.  When WEFT creates the EOT file, it embeds the URL you give it. And you must give a specific URL.  There have been many questions about why WEFT won't work on a specific site.  We usually find when the user created the EOT file, they entered something like http://www.website.com but the correct URL should have been http://website.com
 
See the difference?  To make that work, you would have to create duplicate EOT files that embed both instances of the URL above.  It's the way WEFT works.  There's no way to change it.
