WEFT is a Microsoft technology and ONLY IE supports EOT sites. Microsoft didn't port the solution for FireFox users. So we have no choice.

Now there is another option. You can make your site using Unicode solution (Windows comes with Hindi Unicode support since Windows 2000) and then any FireFox or other browser can show it if they have Hindi Unicode support on their operating system. Linux, OS X also has Hindi support from a long time, so your site will be available to maximum numbers of visitor.

Making sites in Unicode has lot more facilities. I can write pages with all the benefits of Unicode, perhaps you can have a quick look at: http://www.unicode.org/standard/translations/hindi.html
