I think I changed the URL for my homepage at my ISP in this file to http://home.sol.no

It should not matter though

My brother uses a different ISP than I, he has used the exact same procedure as I have in making the .eot file, but it works ok for him.

He used http://home.c2i.net/bjisaksen instead of http://home.sol.no

Perhaps you could confirm that this new eot works/fails in the same way. Actually it would be better if you could provide a pointer to a live example.

There is no problem with the new file, it works from my web server and when I view the page localy from my machine.

http://home.sol.no/~ruisaks/LCD/

the full url to my site (well test site anyway)

It contains a lot of graphics, so it may be slow loading, but it is only a test page =)

The ip for my Web server is

http://158.39.23.198/

Even slower loading I'm afraid =)

The two sites contains the exact same files.

I get an error in Norwegian? when I try to look at the CSS style sheet via ... http://home.sol.no/~ruisaks/Style/font.css

Perhaps the style sheet, and any eot attached isn't getting downloaded.

Post a simple test page which references an EOT directly (not via a linked CSS) and I'll take another look.

http://home.sol.no/~ruisaks/LCD/Testing/   ISP

http://158.39.23.198/Testing/   Web Server

New test

works from my machine localy, and from my web server

does not work from my ISP

Confirmed... attempting to access http://home.sol.no/~ruisaks/LCD/Testing/LIQUIDC0.eot gives the ISP's error page - so either there's no .eot at this location or the ISP blocks .eot's

OK, thanx a lot man, I really appreciate it =)

My ISP told me it should work, I guess the they doesn't know what they are talking about.

Thanx again !!!

I'll write an angry mail to my ISP now, informing them that they have lost a customer.

Thanks, I'll be sure to add this tip for checking a server's support for eot's to the documentation.
