This sin't my area of expertise and I don't have the answer to hand right now, I'll find it and post it on Friday. However, I think the simple answer is that a MIME type doesn't need to be set up.

This reminds me of a trick reported by a WEFT user whose ISP restricted EOT's - he renamed the files to .JPG (or possibly another allowed file type - he reported that some work and some don't) and changed references within the CSS to this new file name. You might want to give this a try.
