I made a font "4newHindiRom.ttf", e.g. "4newHindiRom.vfb" containing different metric groups "all.flc".
 
But these groups are not recognized in VTT.
 
I don't know how to make VTT groups.
 
I thought groups are useful for hinting. For example: If I had hinted the glyph "A" (as one figure of the group A Á Ä Å Ā Ă Ã) all the group's "members could be hinted like "A". But htis seems to be impossible.
Every group's A-member is displayed differnetly in VTT.
 
So I'm quite confused.
 
Maybe you can give me some tips how to proceede?
