Hi,

I am sorry, but after reading all materials about hinting I am not 100% sure how to measure the diagonals.
1. From left side of the stroke to the right side parallel to the baseline?
or
2. From left side of the stroke to the right side and with right angle to both of them?

If diagonals are not exactly the same width at each end, which value of width is usually used ( min, max, average ) ? Where should I measure ( in the middle or at one end of the stroke) ?

Ivo
