Now that the February 09 deadline is drawing close, have the group managers decided where the group is going to be moved to?

Good question, yes, since it's less than a month away... Also, will everyone have to re-register at the new site to get back on the mailing list, or will the current members' database be copied?

Personally, I suggest lobbying MS to put it into the connect.microsoft.com groups. It also uses the Passport authentication method as MSN Groups so a database copy is more feasible. For existing Connect users it could just pop up on their Dashboard, and for new users an account with just the group on the Dashboard could be created, and they could apply from there for any other programs Connect has.

Will everyone be getting emails on what their login info is?? The site doesn't appear to be Passport enabled.

While it is nice to know that Fontlab is providing a platform for VOLT users, I am still wondering about the decision of Managers of the forum in this regards.

The Fontlab forum will officially replace this forum. The decision was made by the managers of this forum at Microsoft (including Si and Sergey). The data from this forum is currently being archived and migrated over to the new forum.
