Are you trying to work on ka+ra (??)? or ka+ra > kra (Huh) where the latter requires the viramamu?

I am also interested in creating Telugu fonts. I am unable to understand VOLT. What is your success rate? What are the tools you are using. Can you guide me in creating or modifying fonts?

Thanks

I am also working on a Telugu Font. Please share your experience. I am getting Ka Halanth Ra -> KaRa. But I am not getting Ka Halanth Ra IMatra -> KRi. Any Idea.

Hi Venu,
Did you consider, that "Ka Halant Ra iMatra" is reordered by Uniscribe as "Ka iMatra Ra Halant"? So you have to substitute "Ka iMatra" by "Ki" and "Ra Halant" by "RaVattu".

I successfully created a Telugu (South Indian Language) Unicode font. Though still in some respects it needs refinement. But at present I am able to use it in Open Office and Notepad.

Some tweeking is needed to say it is fully Unicode compatible (some look ups for Telugu V.2 are to be added).

Do you want to test my font. It is here.

Yesterday what I posted is only part of the Font.

Today I am posting the font and it will work both in Vista and Windows XP. Please test the font and give your suggestions/comments. Some kernings etc. are still to be done.
