Hello all,

Years back we the volt users used to have professional help from Paul Nelson, but now it is hard to get any help with the problem we are facing.
I have problem with the marks on ligatures in Syriac font. The marks sitting in the corner instead of the ligature.
by the way, why we do not have any rosponds from Paul Nelson?

We also got help from John Hudson and Sergey, but as u know this board is closing down, so nobody here cares to reply any more.

U should define marks on ligatures in a separate table. Also u must define the components of every ligature in the glyphs window, Hope that helps... Smiley

Shlama,

I'm having a strange problem with medial substitutions, if I use a medial feature and test it in volt it works fine, but if I put the font into the font folder, the substitution doesn't work, while if I use another feature instead of medial, the substitution works fine.
Any idea why?

Also, Ana Atour, I'd love to see your fonts, unless of course they're private, then that's ok.
