Hello All

Previously I posted my font (shipped) and asked some questions.

At present I am getting the ligatures etc. in VOLT proofing tool, i.e. Ka IMatra changes to KaI, likewise  Ka Halanth Ra IMatra changes to KaI RaOttu.

But the problem is when I am compiling it and testing this font with Word or any thing the letters are not forming -- Ka AAMatra remains Ka AAMatra and Ka Halanth remains Ka Halanth. What may be the problem?

I am attaching the font along with volt tables so that you people can explore it and indicated changes if any.

Thank you Once Again.

At least now your font (after re-shipping in Volt) appears in Notebook- looks good. I cannot help in the ligature problems, but I noticed that some glyphs like TaAU  have overlapping parts which becomes a white space. This is due to outline direction conflict. To solve this in FontLab font view select all glyphs and Tools/Set PS direction. Then in the glyph view select all the glyph parts and click the cross-shaped icon to combine outlines into one.

In Volt When compiling it said there was a conflict in two or three glyph names and Volt substituted them by itself. Did you do the Import Post Script names step using glyph ID 0 to 635 ?
Cheers

Hi

This is in continuation of my earlier e-mail. While checking the font I found some problem areas and rectified them.

Most probably this is not working in Windows XP and Word. May be it is due to some problem in Telugu. It is working in Vista and Open Office 3.

If needed I can post the font with volt tables. Can any one check and proposed the changes I have to do to get it worked on plat forms?

I also want to know its performance on Linux and Unix? Any takers?
