Salaams and Eid Mubarak. My Arabic font works well when generated from Fontlab. However in Volt the marks appear with a gap as in the attached image. Such gaps also occured when I used InDesign CS3 (but not CS2). In that case the gaps disappeared when I marked the marks as a 'mark'.

I need to use Volt to implement marks vertical positioning between groups of marks and base glyphs. Which positioning script should I use?
Many thanks for advice on this question.

Regarding the gaps, these appear to be the result of the width that you set for it in Fontlab. For marks you need to set width at zero. This may solve your problem.
