As you can see in MS Office, if you look into the Font list, You can see the preview of the name of the font in the same font. But if Arabic is enables in your system, you will be able to see an other arabic string as well ابجد ھوز there rendered in the same font. I am developing also an Arabic font but when I see the list of Fonts in MS Office, I am able to see the preview of the English string but Arabic string is not there at all... Why is it so? What fields of the TTF structers that I am missing? Please let me know...
Best regards,
Mohsin Hijazee

You need to add a name string for the font name in Arabic encoding.

You would normally only see this in East Asian fonts.
