Is there anyone out there can advise why an OpenType PS font will appear on screen but not print?

System is Windows XP, using Word

Thanks, ATF

Hi ATF,

Well, my first thought is, do you have a Post Script capable printer?  Also, have you tried converting the font to TrueType?  Aside from Adobe applications, not many of the Windows apps will fully support PS fonts due to patent issues.  Interesting question.

Sincerely,

1. Make sure there is an actual printer selected as default printer.
2, Enter printer driver defaults and select an option to send fonts as pitmaps or to send as graphics or grpahicas page (drivers differ as to wording). Note: Inkjet and other dot matrix printer types always send print jobs as gra0phics pages.
