Hi!
Within big font families we get in trouble giving these fonts correct weight values. If we don't have different values it occurs, that the fonts do not appear in the font menu of applications.
That is the reason why we follow Adobe's recommendation on setting weight values segmented into units of 50.
FontValidator reports bug E2133 in such cases.
Is somebody going to change the spec or FontValidator or are we bound to build smaller families instead?
Does anybody know an application that does not support units of 50 (apart from FontValidator)?
