To all fontlab specialist,

Is there an easy way, or is it possible to create a script that will create a glyph with, for example,  a scaling factor of 50 and flipped horizontally?

For Example, I would like to create a character "B", scaled to 50% (this is just an example, need this to create small caps) and then flipped it horizontally.

Hope that there is an easy way rather doing it manually. Thanks!

Hi Supremo,

for these simple transformations you don't really need to write any scripts. Check out Action and Action Set (under Tools menu) and related pages in the manual.

In the example case, you'd need to run an Action set consisting of 1) Scale proportional 50% and 2) Mirror [H].

Kind regards,
