I've noticed that Fontlab does not assign Unicode values to old style figures. This seems to cause issues for users using Word to access OSF. It doesn't appear to impact Adobe aps.
 
Why is this? I am using 5.0.4 on a PC running WinXP.

It's not a bug.
There are no special Unicode values for old style figures, small caps, special ligatures and so on. Unicode is not about typographic alternates.

If you need Unicode values you can use values from the Private Use Area.
