 Hi,

Need to create a courier like font. I’ve not enough experience and knowledge to work with fontlab, so can anybody help me out with it.

Hope to hear very soon an answer from a specialist.

Greetings

There are so many versions of Courier already digitized.   Why is it
another version is needed?   Are there subtle differences in the glyphs?

Please explain.

Are you trying to recreate a historical font or something new?

I have been reading your other posts and it looks to me based on what you were saying that the old font exists it just isn't installed on or somehow compatible with software you are using now. It may be that it can be converted from the old file or that it is available cheaply from Font.com or fonts.com etc. But to get you sorted you should post a lot more detail about the font & the software you want it to work on Your OS etc.

You could also post to typophile.com with a scan of the font - that would be the best way to ID it. Unless you REALLY want to make your own or have it made.
