is this seminar something that would enable a real caveman like myself
to understand FontLab? for example, would somebody who doesn't
understand the 700-page documentation, or any of the questions posted
on this forum, be able to get anything out of the seminar? i urgently
need to learn, but this stuff seems very over my head.

do you honestly recommend this?

and when is that how-to book coming out?

Clem,

the book "Learn FontLab fast" will premiere at TypeCon 2004 in San Francisco next week. You will be able to order it from http://www.logofontandlettering.com/

I recommend that you get the book and study it, and then come to Prague end of September for our seminar. I do believe that you will be able to learn a lot.

Regards,
Adam Twardoch

thanks for your quick reply to my question, adam.

when you say "Prague" as the locale for the seminar, do you literally
mean Czechoslovakia…?
